Built on observation, not assumptions

We started Frost Flint because standard garden services weren't working for Australian conditions.

Why we exist

Most garden maintenance companies operate on volume. Show up, complete the checklist, move to the next property. That approach works until it doesn't.

Gardens need attention to thrive, not just regular visits. After years working with frustrated property owners who'd cycled through multiple services, we realized the industry had a fundamental problem.

Services were designed around business efficiency, not garden health.

Garden care expertise

What guides our work

Observation over routine

We assess conditions before we act. What the garden needs today might differ from last week, and we adjust accordingly.

Native-first approach

Australian natives aren't just sustainable choices. They're adapted to local soil and climate conditions that imported species struggle with.

Water efficiency

Every irrigation system we design reduces water consumption while improving plant health. It's not a tradeoff.

Long-term thinking

Quick fixes create recurring problems. We build soil health and plant resilience that compounds over time.

How we got here

Frost Flint began after a conversation with a property manager who'd just fired their third garden service in two years. Same complaint each time: the gardens looked maintained but never improved.

That pattern kept showing up. Property owners paying for regular service but watching their gardens decline slowly. Brown patches spreading. Water bills climbing. Soil compacting.

The problem wasn't lack of effort. It was the business model itself.

Standard services optimize for speed and volume. Spend less time per property, service more clients, maximize revenue. But gardens respond to attention and expertise, not efficiency.

So we built a service that works differently. Smaller client roster. Longer site visits. Seasonal planning that changes as conditions shift.

It's slower to scale, but the results speak clearly.
